Unsere Vierbeiner in Albanien brauchen deine Hilfe - wir sind vor Ort auf internationale Unterstützung angewiesen. Spenden sind zwar eine große Hilfe, jetzt braucht es aber jemanden zum Anpacken in Durrës, Albanien. 

Du wirst über 80 Hunden das Leben nicht nur erleichtern, sondern im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes retten. Der Job ist hart, nicht jeder Mensch ist in der Lage, so viel Verantwortung zu tragen und seine eigenen Bedürfnisse zu großen Teilen hintenan zu stellen. Und gleichzeitig bekommst du so viel Liebe und Dankbarkeit von den Fellnasen zurück!

Unsere Schützlinge freuen sich über Menschen, die ihre Bedürfnisse verstehen. Sie wurden in der Vergangenheit sehr wahrscheinlich nicht toll behandelt und wir möchten ihnen ein neues, respektvolles Leben schenken. 

Du solltest schon erste Erfahrung im Tierschutz gesammelt haben und wissen, worauf du dich da einlässt, denn die meisten Dinge, wie Koordination und Organisation vor Ort, aber auch die direkte Betreuung der Tiere wird von dir abhängig sein. Deine Ansprechpartnerin für Alles ist unsere liebe Gründerin Jenny, die hauptsächlich in der Schweiz sein wird.

Können wir uns zu zweit auf den Job bewerben?

Ja! Wir können auch zwei Personen einstellen. Jedoch solltet ihr dann auf jeden Fall eine eigene Wohnung in der Umgebung anmieten, denn in der Unterkunft ist nicht ausreichend Platz oder Privatssphäre.

Brauche ich eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Tierpfleger:in?

Das verlangen wir nicht. Wichtig ist, dass du Erfahrung mitbringst und verlässlich bist. Wir müssen sehen, dass die Tiere bei dir gut aufgehoben sind und dass wir gut miteinander kommunizieren können. 

Gibt es ein Gehalt?

Ja! Du bist in unserem Verein in Albanien angestellt und wirst dir eine kleine Mietwohnung und Verpflegung leisten können, viel mehr allerdings auch nicht. Sei dir im Klaren, dass du trotz so eines harten und umfangreichen Jobs nicht im Luxus leben wirst. Wir wollen jeden möglichen Cent unseren Fellnasen zu Gute kommen lassen - allerdings soll es dir natürlich auch nicht schlecht gehen! Über die Details spricht Jenny direkt mit dir, denn es kommt auch ein bisschen darauf an, wieviel Verantwortung du übernimmst.

Wann soll es losgehen?

Sobald du kannst :) Im Idealfall schaffst du es, uns für ein Kennenlernen und Probearbeiten in Albanien besuchen zu kommen, bevor es mit einer Anstellung weitergeht. So weißt du, worauf du dich einlässt, und wir können feststellen, ob die Hunde auch mit dir zurechtkommen.

Our four-legged friends in Albania need your help - we are dependent on international support on the ground. Donations are a great help, but now we need someone to lend a hand in Durrës, Albania. 

You will not only make life easier for over 80 dogs, you will literally save them. The job is tough, not everyone is able to take on so much responsibility and put their own needs on the back burner. And at the same time you get so much love and gratitude back from these puppies!

Our protégés are happy to be with people who understand their needs. They have probably not been treated well in the past and we would like to give them a new, respectful life. 

You should already have some experience in animal welfare and know what you are getting yourself into, because most things, such as coordination and organization on site, but also the direct care of the animals will depend on you. Your contact person for everything is our lovely founder Jenny, who will mainly be in Switzerland. Ideally you speak basic German - but if not, we'll find a way to make it work.

Can two of us apply for the job?

Yes, we can also take on two people. However, you should definitely rent your own apartment in the area, as there is not enough space or privacy in the accommodation.

Do I need to a certified animal keeper?

We don't require that. The important thing is that you have experience and that you are reliable. We need to see that the animals are in good hands with you and that we can communicate well with each other. 

Is there a salary?

Yes, you are employed by our association in Albania and will be able to afford a small rented apartment and food, but not much more. Be aware that despite such a hard and extensive job, you will not be living in luxury. We want to give every possible cent to our furry friends - but of course we don't want you to be badly off either! Jenny will talk to you directly about the details, because it also depends a little on how much responsibility you are able to take on.

When does it start?

As soon as you can :) Ideally, you will be able to visit us in Albania to get to know us and do some trial work before we take you on. That way you know what you're getting into and we can find out whether the dogs will get along with you.
